Caedmon Choir is a community choir  which is based in Gateshead. Our choir leader since 2007 has been Eleanor Mooney. We have around seventy members who vary widely in age, occupation and interests, but who are united by their enjoyment of singing together.  We rehearse at St. Joseph’s Hall in central Gateshead on Tuesday evenings and perform many times throughout the year at a wide range of local venues, as well as taking part in the annual Street Choirs Festival which is held in a different town or city each year.

We have strong links with local charities and choose one each year to fund raise for- more information can be found on our charities page.

We are a very sociable choir, with residential weekends, annual picnic and end of term pub sessions as well as many more informal get-togethers.
